HP EliteBoard G1a Next Gen AI PC
In early 2026, HP Inc. unveiled its latest product within the G1 personal computer generation – the HP EliteBoard G1a Next-Gen-AI PC. The most obvious difference between this device and the rest of HP Inc. computers is its physical design – it is a fully functional personal computer built into a sleek and compact keyboard.
Given the diversity of today’s workplace concepts, EliteBoard is HP Inc.’s solution for dynamic and changing work environments – all of the computer’s functionality, including speakers and a microphone, is built into a keyboard that is only 12 mm thick and weighs 750 g. When connected to a monitor and a wireless mouse, it creates a complete workplace solution, allowing it to adapt to a wide variety of work environments. The computer can be used either connected to a power source or running on the built-in 32Wh battery, which ensures uninterrupted operation even when away from your desk, while the external 14″ HP Series 5 Pro 14″ WQXGA Portable Monitor expands your workspace and allows you to work comfortably from any place.
The HP EliteBoard keyboard chassis delivers powerful desktop performance – the computer is based on AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors, which provide the performance required for local AI solutions. It is configurable with up to 64 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage, includes an integrated network card, and ensures compliance with the highest security standards through HP Wolf Security for Business.
Since the upper part of the computer is covered with the keyboard and the lower part with the cooling panel, while the sides feature ventilation openings, speakers, and a microphone, it has only two built-in ports: USB4 Type-C 40Gbps and USB Type-C 10Gbps port. These ports can be used to charge the device, as well as to connect to a monitor or HP HDMI Multiport Hub – a small port replicator designed specifically for EliteBoard G1a, which contains additional USB-C ports, as well as HDMI and RJ-45 ports. The computer supports up to four monitors for a wide variety of workspace configurations.
Combining high-level computing performance, minimalist design, easy mobility, and built-in security, the HP EliteBoard G1a offers a new format for viewing the workplace concept – it is no longer tied to a computer desk with a set of interconnected devices but can be placed in a single 12 mm thick keyboard, allowing for flexibility and mobility of working environments. This solution is expected to be available on the market starting from March 2026.
